Jessie MacDonald
Jessie MacDonald was born and raised in Dominion. She attended Cape Breton University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in Communication. Jessie completed her Juris Doctor degree at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
Jessie began articling with Sheldon Nathanson Law in 2017, and was called to the Bar in June 2018. Jessie also was appointed as a Per Diem Crown Attorney in 2018.
Ms. MacDonald primarily practices in the areas of family law, wills and estates, civil litigation, property law, and labour and employment Law.
Ms. MacDonald is the Secretary of the Elizabeth Fry Society of Cape Breton and was a previous member of the UNB Pro Bono Students Canada, the CBU Senate, member of the CBU Students’ Union and a volunteer for the CBU Women’s Centre.
